Camp Registrations: It’s time to sign up for this Summer’s camping program at the Brethren Retreat at Shipshewana Lake.  There is a wide variety of camping experiences offered.  The church will pay ½ of the cost for one week to children & youth who regularly attend on Sunday or Wednesday evening.  See Jennifer Carlisle for information.

Garden VarietyThis Sunday, August 31 -   We are in the series "Garden Variety Wisdom." The book of Proverbs tells us about four tiny creatures — the ant, the hyrax, the locust, the lizard —that are a source of great wisdom to those who are willing to learn. This series takes a look at these smallest of God's creatures as we seek learn the deepest secrets of life that can be found in a common garden.  Pastor Larry Baker shares the message The Wisdom of the Hyrax from Proverbs 30:24-28 and other verses.

Emergency Food Pantry

Food Pantry Hours

Normally our Food Pantry is typically open Monday and Friday 10:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m. It is highly recommended that you call first to make sure that both staff and a supply of food are available. 574-291-4909574-291-4909 Please note: we can help families once a month, and a photo ID is required.  

Donations needed: We are always grateful for any donations that are given to the Deacon Food Pantry. Any non perishable food items accepted as well as paper goods, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene items.

Pork Chop Dinner

Pork ChopsThe Pork Chop Dinner is set for Saturday, September 6 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. It is either dine-in or carry-out.

The cost is $ 9.00 per person.  Each meal includes a thick, smoked, grilled pork chop, potato salad, baked beans, applesauce, and desert.  Dine-in patrons will also have a choice of beverage.
