Our mission

At the First Brethren Church, we believe that God is the answer to a complete and fulfilling life. He gives us love, joy, hope and eternal life with him.

Our Church Mission is to:

• Know the Love of Jesus Christ

• Grow in the Love of Jesus Christ

• Show the Love of Jesus Christ

Know:

Our desire is that every person will come to know the love of Jesus Christ. We believe that to be saved you must repent that you are a sinner and believe that Jesus, God’s son, died on the cross for your sins and that he rose again and lives eternally.

Grow:

We believe that God has called each person to be a disciple of Christ. We believe in a discipleship process that includes continuous growth to become more like Christ. Part of this process includes being a part of a small group or a growth group. We have several small groups and growth groups that meet on various days and times. Please refer to the enclosed listing of the small groups and growth groups currently being offered.

Show:

We believe that each person is unique and that God has created each person with a purpose. We offer classes, mentoring and assessments to help each person identify their God given talents. We believe that true fulfillment comes from using these gifts to serve God by serving others.
